Yes. I handed in my IB Visual Art material on Friday: 28 sketchbook pages, 7 studio works, an artist statement and an interview. That concludes my high school art program. Hurrah! I don't know what to say about IB Art; it put me through a very hard time and a ridiculous amount of self-doubt but I suppose it also helped me realize what I really want to achieve through "art". So. Adieu, IB Visual Art. Now I can start drawing things out of my pure interest and will again.

While I have not been drawing, I have decided to try my hand out at friendship bracelets. There are so many people on dA (and other places too) who are super talented and super savvy at these things! I am SO not one of them. But since I'm stuck in Beijing for the Chinese New Year, I got some thread and so far I'm like 5% done with my arrowhead bracelet. I'm not sure what I'll do with it when I finish, maybe keep it myself (even though it's a FRIENDSHIP bracelet)? It's not like anyone would want my lopsided first try. I guess it will be a nice reminder that...I should...uh...always be...my own friend...too? 0____o

So I haven't been uploading anything recently.  I'm still drawing, but I want to make things look good before I submit them here...so thus far I'm just practicing with parts of anatomy and composition and such. I'll probably upload some sketches if they turn out nice, so look in the Scraps folder if you will. Anyway. I've yet to finish a few drawings because somehow the finished ones look less nice than the original pencil sketches, and school is catching up to me! (Which means that you might see some IB IWB pages too, who knows).  And that's the update. I have so many drawings lined up in my head but I'll wait for my technique to catch
